Job Title: Intermediate Mechanical Engineer/Project Engineer

Kleinfelder is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Mechanical Engineer/Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing mechanical engineering and project management expertise to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute mechanical engineering activities with the objective of meeting the defined contractual scope to the relevant codes, standards, and company/client procedures.
  • Perform calculations, develop material takeoffs, and cost estimates.
  • Stamp and issue drawings with support from subject matter experts and senior engineers.
  • Develop work plans, execution of strategies, and project resource planning given schedule, budget, and scope constraints.
  • Provide mechanical design team with modifications to technical drawings and work plans according to engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a recognized university with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Professional Engineering designation with APEGA is necessary.
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and PE experience; EP/EPCM experience is very desirable.
  • Recent experience in executing multi-disciplined small to medium-sized projects.
