We are currently seeking a skilled **Truck Service Mechanic** to join our team at our Nisku, AB location.

**Job Summary**

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers. This includes diagnosing and determining the nature and extent of repairs required, repairing and replacing mechanical components, and conducting CVIP inspections.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs required
  • Repair, replace, and adjust mechanical components
  • Complete repairs on equipment, truck, and trailer faults
  • Conduct CVIP inspections
  • Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for Work Orders
  • Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services

**Work Schedule**

We offer two shift schedules:

  • 12-hour shift: 7 days on, 7 days off
  • Monday to Friday: 8-hour shift

**Requirements**

  • Journeyman Certificate or Red Seal preferred
  • Completion of College/vocational technical training preferred
  • CVIP certification
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
