Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled individual to enhance and expand Operant's backend application protection capabilities, ensuring the security of modern cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and scale backend command and control functionalities that actively protect cloud-native applications, integrating with various cloud service providers.
- Create scalable and resilient code that meets the rapidly growing demands of our customer deployments and end users.
- Evaluate architectural decisions to ensure stability and performance while maintaining agility.
- Document and communicate design choices with the wider team to foster a remote, asynchronous work environment.
- Work independently while making informed technical decisions in uncertain situations.
- Engage with customer challenges while iteratively building features.
Qualifications:
- Advanced to expert-level experience with Kubernetes and familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, along with a solid understanding of networking layers L3-L7+.
- Experience in developing integrations with various cloud provider APIs.
- Preferred knowledge of Operating Systems and Network Security fundamentals.
- Experience with Golang, C++, REST, GRPC, GraphQL, and WebAssembly is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously within a remote team.
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
Work Environment
