Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in Fort St. John, British Columbia. As a pharmacist with Safeway, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment and provide top-notch patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services such as chronic health condition monitoring and management, medication reviews, health risk assessments, prescription renewals or modifications, minor ailments, or other prescribing services
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete associated documentation
  • Collect relevant patient, drug, and medical condition information
  • Identify and resolve actual and potential drug-related problems
  • Monitor and optimize medication adherence
  • Provide patient counseling that is tailored to the needs and concerns of the patient

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from a recognized institution
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility
  • Authorization to Administer Injections
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
