Brandt is seeking an Electronics Systems Specialist for our Surrey location. This position is responsible for performing installations, calibrations, commissioning, service, and repair of various machine control systems. These systems consist of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components and are installed on heavy equipment, including crawler dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, and paving systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing inspections, testing, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic devices and components, such as pipe lasers, laser levels, GPS receivers, and display screens, using various test equipment.
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing work orders.
  • Submission of technician reports and other relevant information based on the type of work completed.
  • Internal and external customer phone support.
  • Mentoring, training, and supervision of other members of the service team.
  • Travel will be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • A college, university, or technical trade program in electronics.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate with customers.
