Kitchen Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Wok and Roll. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our dishes, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.
- Manage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for kitchen operations.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective work schedules, ensuring that all staff are utilized efficiently.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standard.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a strong team player mentality.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes to our customers. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be working in a hot kitchen environment, with exposure to odors and other kitchen-related hazards.
