We are seeking a Senior CPA to join our team at an accounting firm in Boisbriand. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for executing files, including tax matters, and providing exceptional support to clients.

Job Summary

This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated individual to leverage their expertise in financial management and taxation to drive business growth.

About the Role
  • Execute complete files, including tax matters
  • Coordinate review and compilation engagements
  • Review tax returns, financial statements, adjusting entries, etc.
  • Meet with clients
  • Represent the firm at special events
  • Provide support to colleagues according to the firm's needs

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, experience working with financial software, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements
  • CPA, ideally CPA Auditor
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a firm
  • Mastery of compilation and review engagement approaches and accounting principles
  • Knowledge of software: Excel, Caseware, Caseview and Taxprep
  • Good professional judgment, autonomy and organization
  • Diplomacy and respect for confidentiality
  • Good teamwork skills
