Food Store Manager

At THANIMA KERALA STORE, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Manager to lead our retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily store operations, evaluating performance, and planning and organizing daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Evaluate daily operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily activities, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
- Manage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity, informing sales and marketing strategies.
- Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- 1-2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a grocery store or supermarket setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 35-37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
