Construction Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Winmar Estevan. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction projects, including operating heavy equipment, mixing and pouring materials, and performing routine maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Heavy Equipment: Assist in the operation of pile driving cranes, tower cranes, and other heavy equipment to drive pilings, assemble structures, and perform other tasks.
- Mix and Pour Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure proper installation and completion of construction projects.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Assist in performing routine maintenance work on construction equipment and sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist in Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites to prepare for construction projects.
- Assist in Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to ensure proper construction and completion of projects.
- Level Earth and Pave: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt to ensure proper installation and completion of construction projects.
- Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
- Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
This is a permanent position with a typical work week of 30 to 40 hours. The work language is English.
