Job Title: Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Ultimate Painting INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces.
  • Paint Mixing: Mix paint to desired color and texture.
  • Application: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation: Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, at heights, and in various locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, and roller painting.
  • Coating/Application Specialization: Experience with aggregate painting, sign painting, multi-color finishes, urethanes, metallized coatings, lead-based removal and encapsulation, and paint spraying.
