About Us

Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada's only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state.

Job Role

The Learning and Development Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs to ensure all personnel are appropriately trained and competent to perform their assigned duties and meet regulatory requirements. The role involves collaborating with departments across Trans Mountain to identify training needs, developing training materials, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing training programs to meet regulatory requirements and departmental needs
  • Collaborating with departments to identify training needs and develop training materials
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies
Qualifications and Experience
  • Post-secondary education/training in Business, Social Sciences, Education or a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with leadership experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Learning Management Systems and computer-based training platforms and course development packages commonly used in Industry
