Field Operations Coordinator Position in Construction Projects

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Operations Coordinator to join our team in Western Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of construction projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages, and assist in field surveying and work layout support.
  • Compile and process daily labor timesheets, and prepare Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's).
  • Provide solutions related to construction operations, and participate in jobsite safety reviews and toolbox meetings.
  • Order and schedule material deliveries, plan and coordinate work groups on the jobsite, and supervise field operations.
  • Perform material takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and contract documents, and basic engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations.
  • Schedule maintenance and updates as directed, and maintain project recordkeeping and correspondence functions.
  • Enter data into the job cost system, and review cost reports with jobsite management.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
  • Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
  • Availability to start in 2025.
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time, and demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
  • Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
