Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Woodcraft Specialist to join our team at MOOSE FLOORING LTD. as a Building Structure Technician.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. You will also build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade, with a strong focus on safety and quality. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with regular breaks throughout the day.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including paid time off, health insurance and retirement savings plan.
