About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff

Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including kitchen and food service helpers, to ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide training and coaching to kitchen staff on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and quality control standards.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and wastage is minimized.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.

Reporting and Record-Keeping

Prepare and submit reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, maintaining accurate records and providing insights for business improvement.

Work Scheduling

Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen staff, ensuring that adequate coverage is maintained during peak periods.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
