Job Description:

The Risk Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting with the Disaster Recovery Lifecycle, ensuring that application teams are well-prepared to recover applications in the event of a disaster.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving the Risk Management Process Development and Execution.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify strategic and innovative uses of technology to drive business growth, profitability, and efficiencies.
  • Researching, evaluating, and recommending operational procedures and best practices to optimize processes and workflow efficiencies.
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge and understanding of company operations/procedures, and insurance industry trends/developments, to enhance the Systems analysis process.
  • Assisting with the Disaster Recovery Process Development and Execution.
  • Assisting with IT Business Continuity Oversight processes and solutions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Formal training in project management practices preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in IT.
  • 3+ years' experience in Risk Management related roles.
  • Knowledge of insurance, business, property, and casualty insurance experience an asset.
