Job Description

Job Title: Elementary Teacher - Permanent Position - North Grenville Intermediate

Job Summary:

The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a qualified Elementary Teacher to fill a permanent position at North Grenville Intermediate. This is a full-time position with a 1.0 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) workload.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a Grade 7/8 classroom
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school goals

Requirements:

  • Must have an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing
  • Required qualifications in Intermediate education
  • Qualifications in Special Education are considered an asset
