Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team at PCL Constructors. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment for multiple departments, up to high-level positions, and developing proactive recruitment marketing activities to support robust candidate funnels against hiring forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads full-cycle recruitment for multiple departments, up to high-level positions, and develops proactive recruitment marketing activities to support robust candidate funnels against hiring forecasts.
  • Prioritizes candidate experience throughout the recruitment process and utilizes our Employee Value Proposition to position PCL as an employer of choice.
  • Maintains and updates applicant tracking recruitment database, analyzing statistics to report Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develops and maintains a strategic and consultative relationship with district HR and hiring managers for the district.
  • Keeps informed of market conditions, trends, and programs to collaborate on strategic recruitment recommendations.
  • Supports international recruitment efforts.
Qualifications
  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in a high-volume corporate recruiter role or experienced agency role.
  • Strong business acumen, with an understanding of multiple industry practices is an asset.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain networks.
  • Previous experience recruiting construction professionals would be considered an asset.
