Job Summary:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our construction projects, working closely with project teams to identify and address any quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and identify potential quality issues.
  • Review and approve subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure projects are completed to the required standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality management procedures.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Quality discipline or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of direct construction inspection experience on major projects.
  • Certified in Alberta or other jurisdiction as a Professional Engineer, Engineer in Training (EIT), or certified Engineering Technologist.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
