Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for multiple products and services
  • Design, implement, and optimize cloud architecture to meet business requirements
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of AWS-based applications
  • Implement and manage security measures, including access controls, encryption, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor cloud resources and costs, optimizing for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes
  • Provide guidance and support to other team members on AWS best practices and cloud technologies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, recommending and implementing improvements as needed
  • Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies
  • Create and maintain documentation for AWS configurations and processes
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible for consistent and repeatable deployments
  • Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to optimize cloud infrastructure for operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization
  • Participate in, conduct, and lead Well-Architected Framework reviews for both existing and new AWS deployments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Three + years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years focused on AWS cloud administration
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional certification
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and Lambda
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
