Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Shift Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to pediatric clients in their homes. This includes medication management, wound care, and other interventions as needed. You will also collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.

A successful candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues. They will also be proficient in using electronic health records, medical software, and other technology systems as required. Additionally, they will be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed, and participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies outside of regular hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless coordination of care and timely completion of tasks

Requirements

- Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Minimum two years' experience in community or clinical/hospital settings, preferably in pediatric care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues
- Proficient in using electronic health records, medical software, and other technology systems as required
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed
