Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of daily plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to production, shipping, maintenance, sanitation, and quality control personnel.
- Monitor and report on production key performance indicators, identify trends, and make recommendations to enhance productivity.
- Direct the production planning and scheduling process, ensuring adequate supplies are on hand to meet production demands.
- Monitor inventory levels and analyze product deficiencies to implement measures to improve production methods and quality.
- Ensure a safe work environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Review and manage the plant's budget, monitoring monthly variances and taking corrective action to minimize costs.
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment, promoting employee relations, flexibility, and quick response to issues.
- Stay current on production trends and recommend changes to policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and coordinate all plant inspections, audits, and certifications, ensuring compliance with HACCP, CFIA, GMP, BRC, and other regulatory requirements.
- University education degree or diploma in business or management.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgetary management.
