Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Olymel s.e.c / l.p. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods and materials to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and review transportation orders and instructions received from customers
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including warehouse management and inventory control
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and execution
  • Prepare and submit reports on transportation activities and performance metrics
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work tasks with transportation personnel
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Follow up on issues with work orders and ensure timely resolution
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Prepare and track work orders to ensure accurate and timely completion
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software
