About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Advanced Analytics team, you will play a critical role in driving business transformation through data-driven insights and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and project oversight to a team of Data Scientists, ensuring clarity around priorities and goals.
  • Advanced Analytics: Develop and deploy cloud-based advanced analytics solutions utilizing optimization and data science techniques to drive business outcomes.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Develop an annual strategic roadmap focused on driving transformational results through advanced analytics, in conjunction with other partners.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership to share success stories and increase operations research and data science literacy and adoption across the organization.
  • Research and Innovation: Actively contribute to research community through journal publications, participation at conferences, seminars, workshops, and university relations.
Requirements
  • Education: PhD Degree in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Data Science, Computer Science, Quantitative Healthcare Research, Math, Physics, or a related Engineering degree.
  • Experience: Seven (7) years' experience developing advanced analytics solutions, preferably in the Healthcare industry, including two (2) years' leadership experience.
