Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Express Healthcare Staffing - Red Deer. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to meet patient needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making and care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the province of Alberta.
  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of $40-$50.
  • A per diem rate of $52.44 per work day.
  • Mileage or flights included (conditions apply).

We offer a $100 Fast Start Bonus for those who are credentialed and pick up 3 shifts within 7 calendar days of starting credentialing process, plus a $250 referral bonus available (subject to conditions).

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Casual.

Contract length: 6 weeks.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour.

Additional pay: Overtime pay.

Benefits: On-site parking.

Flexible language requirement: French not required.

Schedule: Day shift, Evening shift, Morning shift, Night shift, Overtime.
