Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Primo Water. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as required.
  • Respond to emergency repairs and adjustments while the line is running in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct smooth and efficient changeovers.
  • Modify and/or fabricate equipment to maintain and improve the lines.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure maximum reliability and highest quality possible at all times.
  • Maintain off-site facilities and operations of all plant equipment.
  • Keep accurate shift maintenance logs.
  • Ensure the start-up and shut-down of all plant equipment each day.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work on machines that use chemicals (caustic, acids, and ammonia).

Requirements:

  • Experience working in maintenance-related fields, including general computer-operated machines, industrial electrical, and welding.
  • Licensed Millwright preferred.
  • Plumbing and HVAC experience a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills, along with mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds minimum.
  • Copious walking and standing required.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a team and independently to achieve team objectives.
  • Available and willing to work flexible shifts when necessary.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and conditions.
  • Must provide own tools.
  • Ability to perform multi-task operations while maintaining exceptional performance.
