We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at GameStop Canada's Mayfair Shopping Centre location in Victoria, BC.
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing store results by providing leadership and support to your team. This includes ensuring that your team provides exceptional customer experiences that maintain our position as Canada's number one destination for gaming/electronics & Collectibles.
To achieve this, you must coach, mentor, and develop your associates daily, attracting and retaining top talent in retail. You will also need to provide your team with the necessary training and tools to succeed in their roles.
Building strong relationships is crucial, and you must be able to identify top performers and create a plan to help them grow with the company.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully leading teams to outstanding results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of store management experience.
We are looking for a Store Manager who thinks outside the box, has an enthusiasm for retail and emerging trends, and is a strong team member who can help us meet and exceed our overall goals.
