Plumber - Installation and Maintenance Specialist

At Jean-Christophe Custom Home Improvement Inc., we are seeking a skilled Plumber - Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing services team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, and for locating and marking positions for pipe connections and fixtures.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Locating and marking positions for pipe connections and fixtures
- Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
- Joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
- Testing pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to the required shape and size
- Taking customers' orders and estimating parts and labor costs
