Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at BURGER KING RESTAURANTS. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Prepare and portion food items for cooking and serving
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain inventory levels
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Handle and store cleaning products, and remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
  • 1-6 months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods
  • Reliability, client focus, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
