A&R Plumbing & Mechanical Service Inc. is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in plumbing
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 37.5 hours per week
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.
