The Health & Home Care Society of BC is seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer. As the organization's top executive, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of its operations, including fundraising, program development, financial management, and staff supervision.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organization's mission and goals
  • Lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers to ensure operational priorities and objectives are met
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external partners, including donors, funders, and community leaders
  • Provide institutional knowledge and context to the Board of Directors and ensure the organization is fulfilling its mission and serving the community effectively
  • Collaborate with the Board to guide strategy development and set priorities

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience as a CEO or Executive Director in a healthcare organization
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization to a variety of audiences
  • Understanding of BC's healthcare system and experience working with diverse populations
