Job Title: Conveyor Belt Splicer

Viacore Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Splicer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our rubber product manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check and monitor product quality to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Train or assist in the training of other workers to maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
  • Operate machines or equipment to cut, shape, splice, fit, and cement rubber materials to form rubber parts or finished rubber products.
  • Operate finishing machines or equipment to trim, grind, or buff rubber products into final form.
  • Inspect finished rubber products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Make minor adjustments or repairs to products as needed.
  • Adjust machinery and equipment to proper settings to optimize production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and locate faults in equipment or processes to minimize downtime.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and maintenance activities.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment as required.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • The position requires a physically demanding work environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential for operating machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
