Make a meaningful impact in a dynamic mental health organization dedicated to delivering exceptional people-centered care. As a Recreation Assistant, you will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.

Key responsibilities include supervising patients, ensuring safety and accident prevention, and addressing inappropriate or unsafe behaviors. You will also consult with patients regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to properly and safely use equipment.

We are seeking a candidate with a diploma in Recreation Leadership, Recreation Therapy, Kinesiology, Health Studies, or a related field. Experience working with mental health and addictions populations is essential, as is valid CPR certification. Strong communication and organizational skills are also required.

As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our patients, staff, and community from COVID-19, all staff are required to have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.
