About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads that support their digital transformation and journey to the cloud.
  • Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the platform in partnership with the sales team.
  • Educate customers on the value proposition of cloud and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.
  • Contribute to internal and customer-facing publications such as white-papers and blogs as a means of scaling your knowledge.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support to address customer needs.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a specific technology domain area, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • 2+ years of exposure to public cloud.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience with AWS technologies.
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Presentation skills with a good degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT managers, and developers.
