Job Title: Senior Manager, Business Intelligence

At BMO, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Business Intelligence to join our team. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions that drive business growth and improve decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions that meet business needs and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Manage and maintain data platforms and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of business intelligence tools and technologies, including Power BI and Spotfire.
  • Provide strategic input into managing the platform and BAU activities as well as future state of the platform.
  • Manage resources and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.
  • Help determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy.
  • Monitor and track performance, and address any issues (security, compliance).
Requirements:
  • Typically 10 years of work experience in Business Intelligence technical roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (computer science, engineering, information systems, math).
  • Expert level of knowledge in PowerBI suite of tools.
  • Knowledge of Spotfire (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience.
  • Knowledge of cloud migration practice.
  • Ability to create Roadmaps and drive the migration to cloud strategy.
