About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Attendant for Handicapped Students. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the academic success and well-being of our students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with daily activities, movements, and routines
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless support
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with students with special needs an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform duties related to supporting students with special needs
