About the Role

The Dedicated Support Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing personalized support and care to each individual resident, creating a warm and safe environment that meets their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents in preparing for and participating in community events, promoting a positive and engaging experience.
  • Act as a resident companion, providing emotional support and companionship as directed.
  • Assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Perform laundry and housekeeping duties, including restocking shelves, making beds, and organizing closets and bedside tables.
  • Participate in admission orientation and transfer processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents.
  • Transport residents safely and efficiently between rooms, activities, and amenities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A Safe Food Handling Certificate and WHMIS certificate.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with residents, families, and visitors.
  • Ability to model the warmth of human connection in all interactions.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
