Director, Project Management for Integrated Systems Implementation

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? As a Director, Project Management for Integrated Systems Implementation at Pomerleau Construction, you will lead our integrated management systems start-up teams across several major projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, guide, and mentor start-up teams dedicated to initiating major construction projects.
  • Coordinate the schedules and quality of deliverables of several projects simultaneously, ensuring that each achieves its objectives.
  • Provide guidance to other project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Collaborate with IT and construction teams to customize and integrate systems according to project needs.
  • Following implementation of the integrated management system, provide support if issues or problems arise.
  • Engage stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring project success.
Requirements:
  • An educational background in construction engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on design-build projects.
  • Proven experience in the implementation and operation of project management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
  • An ability to lead and influence teams on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to be as mobile as required (project visits and project offices, mainly in the greater Montreal area).
Additional Assets:
  • A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI.
