Custom E-commerce Experience Designer

We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our Development Department at StickerYou, Inc. This individual will report directly to the VP of Technology & Digital Products and collaborate with our VP of Marketing and other teams.

Job Summary

This is a key member role driving the user experience strategy for StickerYou.com's e-commerce site. The ideal candidate will craft the overall user experience strategy, design system, and content architecture for the site, overseeing a complete overhaul of site journeys and navigation.

The successful candidate will create end-to-end designs, monitor analytics on user behavior and site performance, and continuously seek opportunities to deliver a superior and higher converting experience. They will develop a proficient understanding of StickerYou's products, customers, and competition by leading and participating in user research, competitive analysis, and other design thinking activities.

Responsibilities
  • Craft the overall user experience strategy, design system, and content architecture for the site.
  • Oversee a complete overhaul of site journeys and navigation.
  • Create end-to-end designs including low-fidelity user interface sketches/wireframes through to high-fidelity pixel perfect visual design mockups and prototypes.
  • Monitor analytics on user behavior and site performance, continuously seeking opportunities to deliver a superior and higher converting experience.
  • Develop a proficient understanding of StickerYou's products, customers, and competition by leading and participating in user research, competitive analysis, and other design thinking activities.
  • Apply user-centered design best practices and methodologies as well as mobile-first/responsive design thinking.
  • Work within tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Requirements
  • 4-5 years in UX Design, Digital Product Design or Visual/UI design.
  • A strong portfolio of projects which demonstrate creative, user-centered design solutions to complex problems, especially in an e-commerce context.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Design, User Experience or a related field.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to take responsibility for design of solutions from concept to completion.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across departments.
  • Proficient and effective use of industry-standard UX and UI design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and XD and UXPin.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations.
  • Knowledge of printing industry considered an asset.
Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
