Medical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at the Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including routine and complex tests, and working with automated instruments. You will also be responsible for greeting patients, collecting and receiving specimens, and entering data into the Laboratory Information System.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including routine and complex tests, and working with automated instruments
* Greet patients, collect and receive specimens, and enter data into the Laboratory Information System
* Validate and report test results
* Maintain instruments and prepare solutions and control agents
