Department Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Store Supervisor to join our team at Navs Grocery. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our department store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Manage Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
- Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Manage Inventory: Conduct regular inventory audits, manage stock levels, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Our department store operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
