Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at Whistler 99 Courier and Freightways Corporation. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, and place equipment and materials. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, and place equipment and materials
  • Clean and lubricate cranes to ensure optimal performance
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure cranes are in good working condition
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in crane operation is an asset
  • Ability to work outdoors in various locations
  • Flexibility to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Accurate and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
