We're seeking a motivated and skilled Hair Professional Trainee to join our team at Regis Canada. As a Stylist in Training, you'll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of our salon business while delivering exceptional customer service across all communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:- Learn from experienced stylists and managers to grow the business and control expenses
- Greet customers, answer phones, and provide exceptional customer service
- Keep the salon clean and maintain safety standards
You may be eligible for promotion to the stylist position once you receive your license. A promotion is not guaranteed, and you must earn it by meeting certain requirements.
To be considered for promotion, you must:
- Possess a valid appropriate license in your applicable state of employment
- Have the ability to perform the duties of the license requirements, including cutting, styling, coloring, and washing hair with or without an accommodation
- Demonstrate honesty, accountability, integrity, and respect as outlined in our company values

Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license(s) within 90 days of hire date
- Great judgement and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Technical skills to use point-of-sale systems and enter data
- Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 10 lbs. to stock retail shelves, occasionally lifting 10-25 lbs. to assist in unloading monthly shipments of products
- Be on your feet for most of the day
- Read, write, and do basic math
- Available to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travel
