About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to join our Soucy Service Centre's legal team. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal support to our various subsidiaries in different areas of law, including corporate, intellectual property, environment, labour and employment, etc.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, draft, and negotiate contractual agreements related to our business activities, as well as any relevant legal documentation in the context of the management of the company's business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, decrees, and other legal texts or documents to ensure the interests and liability of the group companies are adequately protected.
  • Collaborate with our external legal advisors and managers of various departments to advise them on various legal aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, corporate policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify legal issues, analyze possible solutions, and provide recommendations to achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in the creation, drafting, and implementation of standard procedures, policies, and contracts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in corporate law and be a member of the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec. You will also need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.
