Job Title: Freight Logistics Specialist

About Us: Iceberg pure water is a leading provider of premium bottled water. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Freight Logistics Specialist to join our team.

Job Description: As a Freight Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods from our warehouse to various locations. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely delivery of our products while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload goods in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety standards are met.
  • Oversee the maintenance of vehicles, including tire checks, brake checks, and other necessary repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with transportation logistics and regulations.

Work Environment: You will be working primarily outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical demands include standing for long periods, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks.

Compensation and Benefits: The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off.
