About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Guac Mexi Grill St Catherines. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers, while maintaining a high level of culinary excellence.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including special meals for patients, as instructed by our dietitian or chef.

Staff Training and Development

Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Inventory Management

Order and manage supplies and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and running efficiently.

Kitchen Operations Management

Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations to ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.

Cleanliness and Safety

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

At least 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Conditions

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
