We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Long-Term Care Assistant Professional to join our team at Wolfville Nursing Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and assistance to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Participate in resident-centered care planning, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their well-being and dignity.
- Certified Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working in long-term care or a related field an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
