Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Associate to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in building and managing high-performance investment counselling franchises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and resolve client inquiries, providing recommendations for complex situations
  • Attend client meetings, including prospect and annual review meetings
  • Maintain timely communication with internal and external contacts
  • Assist in implementing action plans and managing client portfolios for optimal performance
  • Monitor and rebalance portfolios to ensure consistency with Investment Policy Statements and risk management strategies
  • Contribute to team objectives by retaining and growing high net worth customers
  • Develop client profiles, including next steps to increase and solidify relationships
  • Input trades, address compliance requirements, and ensure account documentation is complete
Requirements
  • University degree in a related field (Economics and/or Business)
  • CFA Designation (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • Minimum 3 years portfolio management experience
  • Minimum 5 years investment industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • CFP Designation (Certified Financial Planner)
  • Marketing/Sales background
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Fluency in English and French
