Project Management Opportunity at Plan Group

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our commercial projects and ensure their timely and budget-friendly completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and achieve project targets and milestones to deliver electrical projects.
  • Lead the project team in Health and Safety promotion and monitoring.
  • Analyze critical path activities and advise the project team accordingly.
  • Manage project teams to ensure document control, change order process, and coordination of equipment and material deliveries.
  • Identify opportunities for project team members to receive regular feedback, coaching, and training.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering post-secondary education or related.
  • A minimum of five years construction project management experience; trade experience is a definite asset.
  • Experience managing mechanical commercial and institutional projects.
  • Knowledge of Estimating software, such as Accubid Change Order, Enterprise – Enterprise Change Order Version, and/or Estimating experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience utilizing scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent.
  • Experience analyzing and understanding Architectural, Electrical, and Mechanical construction drawings and experience working on commercial projects.
