YWCA Metro Vancouver is seeking a dedicated and compassionate leader to fill the role of Manager, Crabtree Corner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of this vital community program.

About the Role

The Manager, Crabtree Corner will provide strategic leadership and guidance to staff members, ensuring that our programs and services meet the evolving needs of women and their families in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. This includes leading our Community Action Program for Children (CAPC), Single Mother's Support Group, Front Desk, Donation Room, Volunteers, and Food Kitchen.

You will work closely with the Associate Director to develop and implement plans that support our community vision, promoting change and improvement through collaborative efforts. Your expertise in risk management and health and safety strategies will be instrumental in maintaining a safe environment for all participants and staff.

A significant aspect of this role involves participating in case coordination and support, providing coaching and debriefing on complex cases, and managing participant files. You will also contribute to program development based on trends and experiences shared by participants, ensuring that our services remain responsive to their needs.

About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in community development, program management, and leadership. Your excellent communication skills, knowledge of women's issues, and experience working with diverse populations will enable you to build strong relationships with staff, participants, and stakeholders.

A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a related field, combined with a community college certificate or equivalent education and experience, is required. Your ability to model and support relationship building, conflict resolution, and cultural sensitivity will be essential in this role.
