About the Role:
We're seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Personal Support Worker (PSW) trainees. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to learn new skills and work in a dynamic environment, providing personal care and support to our clients.

The training program includes:
• Paid training for 5 weeks at $19.05/hr
• Part-time work in the community while continuing education
• 4 months of virtual learning and required placements
• In-person skills lab and training on personal care activities, household management, and general support

Key Responsibilities:
As a PSW trainee, you'll be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients, including:
• Assisting with daily living activities
• Managing household tasks and responsibilities
• Providing emotional support and companionship

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be compassionate, empathetic, and able to work independently. You should also be comfortable taking direction and working in a fast-paced environment.

Some key requirements include:
• Ability to travel and attend meetings
• Valid G or G2 driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Standard First Aid and level C CPR certificate within 3 weeks of start date
• Proof of updated immunizations, including MMR, Varicella/Zosters, HepB, Tetanus, and a negative Tuberculosis test
• Clear police check and vulnerable sector check upon job offer
